Tabgha

Just to the southwest of Capernaum. Tabgha (Ein Sheva) is one of the most important site of Christ's ministry in Galilee, where he did much of his preaching.
The Christian Tradition has localized here three important 'Gospel Events: 'the Sermon on the Mount, the multiplication of loaves of bread and fish and the third apparition of the Risen Lord where he commissioned Peter, ' Feed my lambs... look after my sheep'. The name : Tabgha is a corruption of the Greek name EPTAPEGON.  The place is referred to as Ein Sheva in Hebrew.

In the IX century , the place was also know as the 'place of burning coal': a clear reference to the Gospel 'they went down and found a charcoal fire burning with fish cooking on it.' (Jn. 21,9).

the hill is so called because it is thought that here, over looking the lake, Christ gave his sermon on the Mount. this famously began with his blessing or 'beatitudes' (daily 8 am to 5 pm - free)

According to Egeria, it would have been the grotto from which Jesus announced the 'sermon on the Mount.'  the Gospel event which is commemorated is narrated in John 21. Later on , Jesus revelead himself again to disciples. It was by the Sea of tiberias, and it pened like this: Simon Peter, thomas callet the Twin, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and two more of his disciples were togheter, Simon Peter said, 'I'm going fishing'.....

 Capernaum, Cafarnaum ou Cafarnao

The village of Capernaum on the northern tip of the lake, became his second home. Here Jesus is said to have preached more sermons and performed more miracles than anywhere else. It was a metropolis of sorts in its heyday, and at least five of the disciples came from here.

O vilagio ou cidade de Cafarnaum ficou sendo a segunda casa de Jesus. Ali ele fez mais sermoes e fez mais milagres do que em qualquer outro lugar. Tambem dizem que 5 discipulos vieram desta cidade.

1-Sea of Galilee
Israel's chief source of water. the Sea of Galilee(Lake Tiberias/ Kinneret) lies 212 metres(696 feet) below sea level and is fed and drained by the Jordan river. It is 21 km (13 miles long and 9 Km (6 miles) wide, and since biblical times has been famous for its abundance of fish.
Tiberias is the largest town on the Sea of Galilee, Tiberias is a popular resort with many hotels, bars and restaurantes..

Tiberias e a maior cidade do Mar da Galilea. e famosa com varios hoteis, bares e restaurantes.
 Junto ao mar da Galilea que vamos conhecer aos poucos muitos lugares onde Jesus fez muitos milages descritos na Biblia.

O autor e Deus, a Terra Prometida de Deus ao seu povo.
O povo hebraico, estou ainda lendo e querendo entender porque Deus escolheu este povo, que ora, reza e ainda escraviza os palestinos e e odiado por milhares. Uma cidade como Jerusalem com 3 religioes diversas vivendo dentro da cidade murada e vivendo juntos.
Eu como aventureiro e decidi junto com minha familia irmos juntos sem excursao de Igreja nenhuma.
 Lendo entre guias da biblioteca decidi que seria a metade do preco em ir com minha familia do que ir com uma excursao. Minha viagem deu liberdade em alugar um carro e fazer o que queriamos , paramos em qualquer lugar fomos nos nossos horarios e discutimos, nos perdemos mas descobrimos e falamos com o povo local.
Incrivel mesmo ficando perdido em bairros que parecia perigosos e dava medo a noite em Nazareth entramos nas ruas mais estreitas e vimos tudo: pessoas, acidentes de carros e confusao em lugares que nao sabiamos onde era. mas a terra promessa tem surpresa. E acredito se voce term Deus contigo o inimigo nao the tocara.
